Marienkapelle (Hahlen)
The Marienkapelle in the Minden district of Hahlen is a chapel of the Evangelical Lutheran parish Hartum-Holzhausen, which belongs to the Minden parish of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia .
Building history and architecture
According to an inscription above the entrance on the south side, the chapel was built in 1503 . It is a late Gothic hall building with a three-sided end. The wooden ceiling is supported by pillars with blind arches . The windows that have just closed are in three parts on the east side, otherwise in two parts. A roof turret with a bell from 1680 is located above the western gable .
Interior
The octagonal, wooden pulpit of the Marienkapelle comes from the Gothic and was later extended by a foot and a sound cover .
