The Marikoppa is a 1,840 m high mountain in Georgia . In the Allardyce Range it rises between Larssen Peak and Paulsen Peak .
The South Georgia Survey surveyed the mountain between 1951 and 1952. His name, which is known locally and was used in 1950 by the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Harald B. Paulsen (1898–1951), comes from Finnish . The word Koppa means something like "basket with a lid".
