Marilyn Virdiana Díaz Ramírez (born November 18, 1991 in San Luis Potosí ) is a Mexican soccer player.

Career

society

Díaz started his career in the youth of the Club San Luis . After going through all the youth teams up to the B youth in San Luis Potosi, she switched to the UNAM Pumas . After half a year she left the Pumas and switched to Club de Futbol Femenil Andrea's Soccer Mexico .

In January 2013, Díaz was added to a list of 55 players from the US, Canada and Mexico national teams who were to be transferred to the eight teams in the new National Women's Soccer League . As part of the NWSL Player Allocation , she was assigned to FC Kansas City , where Díaz should play with Renae Cuéllar .

In March 2013, the Mexican association informed the club that Díaz would not get approval for the NWSL. She returned to Andrea's Soccer after this decision by the Mexican Football Association .

National team

On October 6, 2010, she was appointed to the 18-man squad of the Mexican U-20 for the Panamericanos in Guadalajara . Díaz has been part of the extended group for the Mexican national soccer team since 2011 .

Private

In addition to her active football career, she has been studying at the Facultad de Contaduría y Administración de la UASLP since 2010 .
