Marina Schneider (born January 19, 1990 in Tyrol ) is Miss Austria 2008 and an Austrian athlete .

biography

Marina Schneider is a member of the IAC Pharmador Association . At the Austrian Championships in 2007 she reached second place in the high jump . At the 2008 championships she reached first place in the indoor pentathlon and indoor high jump and first place in the open air high jump. In 2007 Schneider took part in the U18 World Athletics Championships.

On March 28, 2008, the Tyrolean was named Miss Austria 2008 in Ebreichsdorf ( Lower Austria ). She had applied without assuming a win. As Miss Tirol in 2008, she prevailed against eighteen competitors and succeeded Christine Reiler . Because of her high school diploma , she could not take part in the Miss World election. In her place, the Styrian and Vice-Miss-Austria Kathrin Krahfuss went to Johannesburg . Because of her non-participation, there were subsequently discussions as to whether the relationship with the Misselection Association was disrupted. After Patricia Kaiser , Marina Schneider was the second athlete to be elected Miss Austria. In 2009 Anna Hammel from Upper Austria became Miss Austria's successor.
