Marina Thudichum

Marina Thudichum (born January 15, 1906 in Tutzing ; † December 20, 1990 there ) was a German writer.

Thudichum lived in Berlin , Munich , Donauwörth and Haag an der Amper , among others . In the late 1920s through the 1960s she published more than 40 books, numerous poems and short stories. She wrote mainly children's books, but also short stories for adult readers. She was also the editor of a number of edited volumes.

Naming

In memory of Marina Thudichum, the primary school in Haag an der Amper was renamed the Marina Thudichum School on May 14, 2004.
