Marina Wassiljewna Tschernoussowa ( Russian Марина Васильевна Черноусова ; * May 12, 1983 ) is a Russian cross-country skier .
Career
Chernousova has been taking part in the Eastern Europe Cup since 2007 . She has achieved nine podium finishes so far, including one victory. In the 2007/08 season she took first place and in the 2012/13 season she took second place in the overall cup standings. She ran her first of 11 individual World Cup races in December 2007 in Rybinsk , which she finished in 33rd place in the 15 km mass start race. In the following year she got her first world cup points in Kuusamo with the 24th place over 10 km classic. At the Winter Universiade 2009 in Yabuli she won the silver medal in the 10 km skiathlon and the gold medal in the 15 km mass start race and with the relay. In August 2013, she won the 42 km freestyle at Kangaroo Hoppet . In the 2014/15 season she achieved her best position in the World Cup so far with 14th place over 10 km freestyle in Rybinsk. At the beginning of January 2018 and 2020 she won the Vasaloppet China over 50 km classic.
