The Naval Museum Toulon , French Musée de la Marine, Toulon is a naval museum in Toulon in the Var department on the French Mediterranean coast. It has existed since 1814.

The museum is part of the Musée national de la Marine , headquartered in the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, which also includes other museums in Brest , Port-Louis and Rochefort . The neighboring military port of Toulon is the base of the French Mediterranean fleet .

The museum houses two large models of sailing ships from the 18th century, the control panel of the Clemenceau aircraft carrier and a model of the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier .
