The Marinovic Beach is a gentle climb beach on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located on the south bank of Explorers Cove in New Harbor .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after the marine biologist Baldo Branimir Marinovic (* 1962) from the University of California, Santa Cruz , who was part of the winter team at McMurdo Station in 1985 and whose areas of activity for the examination of echinoderms included this beach .
