Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (known in Japan as Mario & Luigi RPG ( Japanese : マ リ オ & ル イ ー ジ RPG)) is an RPG that was developed by AlphaDream and published by Nintendo in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance . The game is the first in the Mario & Luigi series .

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions

During a Nintendo Treehouse presentation on June 13, 2017 at E3 2017, a new edition of the game under the name Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions (English Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions , in Japan as Mario & Luigi RPG 1 DX , Japanese: マ リ オ & ル イ ー ジ RPG1 known) announced for Nintendo 3DS . Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions was released in Europe and North America on October 6th. In Japan, the game was released a day earlier.
