Mario Andreotti
Mario Andreotti (born July 9, 1947 in Glarus ) is a Swiss Germanist .
Life
Andreotti studied German language and literature, history and didactics as a teacher in Zurich . In 1975 he did his doctorate with Emil Staiger with a doctoral thesis on Jeremias Gotthelf . In 1977 he obtained the diploma for the higher teaching post at grammar schools. Until 2012 he was the main teacher at the Cantonal School at Burggraben in St. Gallen. He was also a lecturer for public lectures in linguistics and literary studies at the University of St. Gallen and part-time lecturer in literature and literary theory at the higher technical school for language professions in Zurich and at the Vorarlberg University of Education.
