Mario Panzeri

Mario Luciano Panzeri (born May 10, 1964 in Costa Masnaga , Italy ) is an Italian mountaineer and mountain guide .

Life

In addition to some of the most important alpine peaks, Panzeri has climbed all 14 eight-thousanders , all without the help of bottled oxygen. With the success on Dhaulagiri in May 2012, he was able to complete this series of ascents . From the first to the last summit success on an eight-thousander, Panzeri needed a total of 23 years, 7 months and 21 days, more than any other graduate of the series (as of May 2012).

Panzeri has been a mountain guide since 1987 and also works for the Italian Alpine Club.
