Mario Valery-Trabucco (born February 19, 1987 in Caracas , Venezuela ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with SG Cortina in Serie A since 2015 .

Career

Mario Valery-Trabucco began his career as a hockey player at Union College , which he attended from 2006 to 2010, while he was also active for its ice hockey team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association . In his senior year of college he was elected to the second all-star team of the college league ECAC Hockey . Towards the end of the 2009/10 season , the winger made his professional ice hockey debut for the Adirondack Phantoms from the American Hockey League . In two games he stayed without points and received two penalty minutes. He then received a contract with the reigning Finnish champions TPS Turku , with whom he initially participated in the European Trophy in the pre-season . In the 2010/11 season he scored 16 goals and three assists in 57 games for the Finns.

For the 2011/12 season Valery-Trabucco was signed by the Augsburg Panthers from the German Ice Hockey League . Trabucco has been playing for the Hannover Scorpions since the 2019/20 season
