Mario Wagner

Mario Wagner (* 1974 in Adenau ) is a German illustrator .

Wagner completed a design degree at the FH Aachen from 1996–2002 with a focus on illustration. From 2002 he worked as a freelance artist and illustrator in Cologne , but now works and lives in San Francisco . Mario Wagner's works have been featured in the New York Times Magazine, Playboy and Vanitiy Fair, among others. For the New York Times Magazine he is now repeatedly employed for commissioned work.

Most recently, Mario Wagner gained a new level of popularity, as he was one of 18 artists involved in Absolut Vodka's Absolut Blank project . The result is a special edition called Absolut Blank Edition Wagner.
