biography

Josserand was an alpine ski racer at the beginning of her sports career . In December 2001 she competed in FIS races for the first time, her first appearances in the European Cup followed in January 2003. Success in this sport was largely absent, which is why she switched to ski cross. On January 10, 2007, she made her debut in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup , finishing ninth in Flaine . At the 2007 World Cup in Madonna di Campiglio , she was eliminated in the semifinals and finished sixth.

On January 5th, 2009 Josserand celebrated her first (and so far only) World Cup victory in St. Johann in Tirol . In the 2008/09 season, another podium followed, while she did not get past eleventh place at the 2009 World Cup in Inawashiro . In the 2009/10 season Josserand was regularly among the top ten. At the 2010 Winter Olympics , she won the bronze medal behind Canada's Ashleigh McIvor and Norwegian Hedda Berntsen .
