Marion Steven

Marion Steven (* 1960 in Bielefeld ) is a German business economist .

Life

Steven completed a bank apprenticeship after graduating from high school and then studied business administration. In 1989 he received his doctorate and in 1992 his habilitation at Bielefeld University . In 1992 she accepted a position at the University of Duisburg-Essen . In 1996 she was offered a chair in production management from the Ruhr University in Bochum . She is director of the Institute for Corporate Management and a member of the audit committee of the Düsseldorf Chamber of Public Accountants .

Steven wrote the book Business Administration in Basic Studies with Klaus-Peter Kistner . She is also responsible for the business training of engineers at the faculty . Research and teaching focuses on environmental aspects of production and logistics.
