Marita Blattmann

Marita Blattmann (born August 5, 1959 in Schuttern ) is a German historian .

Marita Blattmann received her doctorate in 1988 under Hagen Keller at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg with a thesis on Freiburg city rights during the Zähringer era . She reconstructed the lost documents and records from the 12th and 13th centuries. From 1987 to 1994 she was a research assistant and research assistant at the history seminar of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . From 1994 to 1997 she was a research assistant in the DFG special research area 231 “Carriers, fields, forms of pragmatic writing in the Middle Ages” in Münster . Her habilitation took place in 1995 with the thesis The Articles of Association from Bergamo to 1343. A municipality 'learns' how to deal with written law . From 1997 to 2000 she taught as a university lecturer for historical auxiliary sciences and history of the Middle Ages at the Ruhr University Bochum . Blattmann has been teaching as professor for medieval history and historical auxiliary sciences at the University of Cologne since 2000 .
