Marita Sehn

Marita Sehn born Kaspar (born May 2, 1955 in Rödern , † January 18, 2004 in Niedersohren ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

From 2002 until her death she was chairman of the petitions committee of the German Bundestag .

education and profession

After completing secondary school , Marita Sehn completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk .

family

She was married and had no children.

In the early evening of January 18, 2004, Marita Sehn was hit by a car while walking on an asphalt farm road and died at the scene of the accident.

Political party

Marita Sehn had been a member of the FDP since 1985. From 1992 to 2002 she was chairwoman of the FDP district association Rhein-Hunsrück district and from 1998 until her death chairwoman of the FDP district association Eifel - Hunsrück . She also belonged to the FDP state executive in Rhineland-Palatinate .

Marita Sehn was a member of the German Bundestag from 1990 to 1994 and from 1998 until her death . Here she was chairman of the Petitions Committee from 2002. She was also the wine-growing political spokeswoman for the FDP parliamentary group .

Marita Sehn has always entered the Bundestag via the Rhineland-Palatinate state list.
