Marita Vollborn

Marita Vollborn (* 1965 in Erfurt ) is a German journalist, radio and book author.

Life

Vollborn studied agronomy at the Humboldt University in Berlin and journalism at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media and worked as a food technologist.

Vollborn has been a freelance science and business journalist since 1992. In addition to contributions to the Frankfurter Rundschau and Bild der Wissenschaft , she has been a Focus author since 1996 and editorially headed the biotech webzine LifeGen.de from 2001 until it was closed. Marita Vollborn has been a Spiegel Online author since 2004 and an author on Deutschlandradio since 2012. She also works as an artist (sculptures made of paperclay and bronze) in the context of the project Sinn und Sch towards ( meaning and shards ) that she created .
