Marius Croitoru (born October 2, 1980 in Giurgiu ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with ACS Poli Timișoara since summer 2015 .

Career

Marius Croitoru's first club station was FCM Bacau in 2000 . In 2006 he moved to FC Vaslui . In 2007 he was signed by Steaua Bucharest . In 2009 he was again under contract with FCM Bacau and Politehnica Iași . In 2010 he decided to move to Kazakhstan for FK Atyrau . In January 2011 he returned to Romania and joined Astra Ploieşti . His contract there was not renewed in the summer of 2011. In April 2012 he returned to Bacau before joining second division FC Botoșani in the summer of 2012 . With his new club, he rose to the House of Lords in the 2012/13 season . In the 2014/15 season he even qualified for the Europa League with Botoșani .

In August 2015, Croitoru left the club and moved to promoted ACS Poli Timișoara . In the 2015/16 season he was rarely used and secured the class with his club.
