Marius Johnsen (born August 28, 1981 in Kristiansand ) is a Norwegian football player .

Defender Johnsen began his career with the Norwegian football club FK Vigør before moving to the Tippeligaen club IK Start in January 2003 . Here he reached second place with the team in the 2005 season and, after successfully qualifying, played in the 2006/07 UEFA Cup .

On January 2, 2007, Johnsen was loaned from IK Start, where he still has a contract until June 2007, to the second division club 1. FC Köln until the end of the 2006/07 season. On January 26, 2007, Johnsen made his debut for 1. FC Köln in a game against SV Wacker Burghausen (3-1). On April 25, 2007, 1. FC Köln announced that it would not make use of the option on Johnsen. The requested transfer fee of 800,000 euros was too high for the club's officials.

Johnsen moved to the Norwegian club Lillestrøm SK in the summer .

Marius Johnsen made his debut for the Norwegian national team on October 8, 2005 in the qualifying match against Moldova .
