Marius Skuodis

Marius Skuodis (* 9. August 1986 ) is a Lithuanian politician , Deputy Minister , Deputy Economy Minister of Lithuania .

Life

After graduating from Žemynos grammar school in Šeškinė , Marius Skuodis completed a bachelor’s degree from 2004 to 2008, and from 2008 to 2010 European Studies ( magna cum laude ) and then did a doctorate in political science and taught at the Vilniaus universitetas , and was an institute assistant from 2012–2016. From 2010 to 2012 he completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Public and Economic Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science .

From 2008–2009 Skuodis worked as a specialist at the Government Chancellery of the Republic of Lithuania and from 2009–2010 as an analyst at VšĮ Viešosios politikos ir valdybos institutas. In 2010 he was a board member at Valstybinis studijų fondas . From 2015 to 2018 he headed the department for international relations and from 2012-2015 was senior specialist in this department at Lietuvos bankas in Vilnius . Since 2018 he has been Deputy Minister of Economy of Lithuania and Deputy of Virginijus Sinkevičius in the Skvernelis cabinet .

Skuodis is married. He has a son with his wife Rita.
