Mark Bright (comic artist)

Mark Doc Bright (pseudonyms: MD Bright , Doc Bright ; * 1955 in Montclair , New Jersey ) is an American comic artist.

Life and work

Bright graduated from the Pratt Institute in 1974 with a degree in drawing. Since 1978 he has been working as a full-time comic artist. His first professional work was backup stories for the DC Comics series House of Mystery .

Since then, Bright has worked as an illustrator for the Marvel series Iron Man , Iron Fist , Power Man and Solo Avengers as well as the DC series Action Comics Weekly (1988), Valor (1992-1993), Green Lantern (1990-1993) and Batman drawn. He worked on ICON for Milestone Comics and on Quantum and Woody for Acclaim Comics . Together with his frequent artistic partner Christopher Priest , he also produced the mini-series Falcon (1984).
