Mark DiSalle is an American screenwriter , director , producer, and actor . He is also the chairman and founder of AdmitOne Security . Bloodsport (1988) and The Kickboxer (1989), in which he can also be seen in a supporting role , are among his best-known films .

biography

Mark DiSalle began his career as a general accountant; eventually he gave up his job to found the consulting firm DiSalle, Rosenblatt & Co. , which is involved in merger, acquisition and investment and is important for the entertainment sector. He then served as President of the Concert Corporation of America and produced live entertainment shows in California , New York , Arizona , Oklahoma and Iowa with well-known artists such as Bill Cosby , Stevie Wonder and Rod Stewart .

In 1985 DiSalle moved to Los Angeles and began producing feature films for Paramount , MGM , and Cannon film studios. With a total budget of 25 million US dollars , the revenues amounted to more than 500 million US dollars. During his time in Los Angeles, he was a producer and / or director of films that kicked off the later career of Jean-Claude Van Damme .

In 1994 there was another move, this time to Seattle , where Mark DiSalle was involved in the creation, development and financing of some risky businesses.
