Kickboxer 2 - The Road Back is an American martial arts film from the year 1991 with Sasha Mitchell in the lead role of David Sloane.

After his brothers Eric and Kurt were killed in revenge by the Thai master of Muay Thai Tong Po, David Sloane vowed not to participate in kickboxing competitions. Sloane runs the martial arts school founded by his brothers in his hometown, where he is also a trainer. In order to keep this going, however, he is forced to face an exhibition match. He wins it, and the loser takes revenge by burning Sloane's martial arts school, seriously injuring him in the process. While Sloane is in the hospital, Xiang, his brothers' old coach, shows up and takes care of him. He introduces David to the art of Muay Thai. Brian, a former student of Sloane's, is now the reigning kickboxing champion. When an important fight is imminent, he invites Sloane to join it. That evening it turns out that the promoter Mr. Sangha is playing a perfidious game to restore his honor, which Kurt destroyed by defeating Tong Po. He swaps Brian's actual opponent for Tong Po, and Brian is brutally killed in the ensuing fight. Mr. Sangha now challenges David to face Tong Po, which he accepts. The fight between Tong Po and David is started by Mr. Sangha so that he can prove in Thailand that his honor has been restored. However, David manages to defeat Tong Po.
