Sasha Mitchell

Sasha Mitchell (born July 27, 1967 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor .

Mitchell began his career as a model and has worked with photographer Bruce Weber on several campaigns for Calvin Klein since 1985 . After guest appearances on series such as St. Elsewhere and Pleasures , Sasha Mitchell first came to prominence in 1989 through the role of James Richard Beaumont in the series Dallas . Two years later, after the series ended, he took on a supporting role in the popular sitcom A Strong Family , in which he again played a nephew of Patrick Duffy . Mitchell also starred in various martial arts films .

In 1996, his wife accused him of domestic violence . Mitchell was forced to quit the Disney- produced sitcom as a result and retired from the film business until 2000. He went public to discuss his wife's allegations. His wife is mentally unstable and Mitchell was given sole custody of their four children in court. Mitchell's wife is only allowed to see the children under supervision.

Between 2002 and 2005, Mitchell made some appearances on the television series Emergency Room , JAG and NYPD Blue .
