Mark Vicente

Mark Vicente (born June 22, 1965 in Johannesburg , South Africa ) is a South African cameraman . He lived in Portugal, Brazil, Canada and the USA.

He studied cinematography, stage design, theater lighting, radio and television productions and music. After working as a news cameraman, he recorded music videos and commercials. He had his breakthrough as a cameraman in the musical Sarafina! with Whoopi Goldberg . In 1992 he got the opportunity to go to Hollywood and made a film for Disney, The Kidnapper , with Partick Swayze.

He stayed in the US and made 14 other films, including Slow Burn . In 2000 he directed commercials and documentaries.

In 2005 he was director and cameraman on What The Bleep Do We Know !?.
