action

A couple and their little daughter Trina live in a desert town in northern Mexico. The parents are looking for a family treasure made up of diamonds that was lost decades ago. They die in unexplained circumstances. Flashbacks shown later illustrate that Trina's mother wanted to leave her family.

Years later, the now grown-up Trina continues to search for the treasure, although her boyfriend Frank Norris advises her to stop. Two fugitive prisoners, Marcus and Duster, hear about the treasure and want to find it too, which happens by chance.

While the prisoners want to cross the state border, Trina tries to take over the treasure. She dies in the desert, tied to a dead man.

Reviews

  • Diane Selkirk wrote in the Apollo Guide that the plot was interesting and contained elements that were unique. However, the film cannot decide whether it wants to focus on visual beauty or an action thriller. It is difficult to combine both what Three Kings did, but this film - less.
  • Rotten Tomatoes : The film is a psychological thriller.
