Marko Mušič (born January 30, 1941 in Ljubljana , Kingdom of Yugoslavia ) is a Yugoslav-Slovenian architect. He was one of the most important architects in Yugoslavia .

Life

Mušič graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering Ljubljana in 1966 as a student of Edvard Ravnikar . He then studied in Denmark with Ejnar Dyggve and in the United States with Louis I. Kahn .

From 2008 to 2013 he was Vice President of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts and from February to May 2014 its President.

Mušič lives and works in Ljubljana.
