Markthof is a village in the market town of Engelhartstetten in the Gänserndorf district in Lower Austria .

Markthof is located in the east of Marchfeld .

history

Documented in 1273 as Hof an der March . Documented as market in 1411 and 1639. The place suffered Hungarian storms in 1683 and Kuruc invasions in 1706 .

Building

The Breitstrasse village has a largely closed, single-storey building with eaves and follows the slight curve of the Stempfelbach .
