Market square (Bad Kissingen)
The Bad Kissingen market square houses the listed old town hall of Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , as well as numerous other architectural monuments of the place .
history
The market square was built in the 13th or 14th century under the Hennebergers during the urban expansion of Kissingen. Together with the Upper and Lower Marktstrasse, it became the center of the local old town. Its rectangular shape, its rows of parcels and the old town hall are characteristic of the Gothic .

At the beginning of the 20th century the market square was redesigned. The resulting new buildings were largely larger than the previous buildings with an additional third floor and more space requirements:
