The Marktplatz 9 building in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen, is located on the town's marketplace , is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under number D-6-72-114-312 .
history
The property was built in the years 1896–97 by Bad Kissingen architect Carl Krampf . The three-storey brick - Haustein -Bau with sandstone formations and gable roof in the style of Neo-Renaissance design.
For several decades, the owner Joseph Koll ran the Hotel Luitpold on the property. On the facade of the building is a bust of Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria .
The property is now used as a residential and commercial building. For a long time it housed the town hall pharmacy. After the owner died in 2012, a women's fashion shop was opened there in 2013.
