Markus Albers

Markus Albers (* 1969 in Rheine ) is a German journalist , author and entrepreneur.

Albers studied political science, philosophy and journalism in Münster and Hamburg. Among other things, he worked as an editor for SZ-Magazin and Welt am Sonntag , as managing editor for the German-language edition of Vanity Fair magazine , as an author for brand eins and as Berlin correspondent for Monocle magazine . He is also co-founder and managing partner of the Berlin communications agency Rethink.

Albers became known to a broader public as the author of the book Tomorrow I come in later , in which he advocates more freedom and flexibility in the world of work. His books Meconomy , Rethinking Luxury and Digital Exhaustion were also discussed in German and international media and translated into five languages.
