When the club filed for bankruptcy in 2006, he joined SG Leutershausen , which also had to stop playing in the second division a short time later. This was followed by a 14-day engagement at VfL Waiblingen before he accepted an offer from Bundesliga club HBW Balingen-Weilstetten and played the 2006/07 season there to the end. In the 2007/08 season he played for second division TSG Friesenheim . After that, Becker was initially without a club and was signed by the league club HV Stuttgarter Kickers in November 2008 , where he ended his active career in 2011.

From May 2009 to March 2011 the graduate economist was, in addition to his activity as a player, also manager of the Stuttgarter Kickers and from July 2011 to May 2012 at HBW Balingen-Weilstetten. Since then he has been the managing director of a player consultancy that mainly counts handball players in the first and second Bundesliga among its customers.
