Markus Ebner (born November 9, 1970 in Ingolstadt ) is a German snowboarder . He became world champion in parallel slalom in 1999 . In 2001 he became vice world champion in boardercross . In 2003 he was second in the overall World Cup and third in the overall World Cup of the parallel slalom. In his career he was 15 × German champion. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , Ebner was eliminated before the final.

He is one of the most successful snowboarders in Germany.
