Markus Fiedler (sociologist)

Markus Fiedler (* 1967 ) is a German sociologist and Islamic scholar .

Career

Fiedler first studied social pedagogy at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences , then sociology, political science and philosophy at the University of Bayreuth , where he received his doctorate in 2002. phil. received his doctorate . In non-fiction books and magazine articles he deals with the relationship between Max Weber , globalization and socialism, as well as the relationship between Mohammed and the West . He's a member of the left . Fiedler works for the International Islamic Publishing House and is a lecturer at the al-Mustafa Institute in Berlin.
