Markus Höffer-Mehlmer

Markus Höffer-Mehlmer (born April 7, 1958 in Cologne ) is a German cabaret artist , publicist and educationalist .

Study and science

After graduating from the Hölderlin-Gymnasium in Cologne-Mülheim , he studied social pedagogy in Cologne and pedagogy in Frankfurt / Main. He received his PhD in Education , Spanish and Comparative Linguistics , then he qualified as a lecturer in Education. He worked as a youth carer, education officer and as a university professor at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the University of Koblenz-Landau as well as visiting lecturer and lecturer at the universities of Darmstadt , Trier , Valencia (Spain), Istanbul and Muğla (Turkey). Since 2013 he has been an adjunct professor at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz .

Carnival and cabaret

In 1995 Markus Höffer-Mehlmer was one of the founding members of the alternative Mainz carnival club Meenzer Drecksäck . Since 2006 he has been a solo cabaret artist Büb Käzmann . Since 2016 he has been producing the video column "Bübs Bilanz" for several newspapers in the Rhine-Main area ( VRM_ (media company) ).
