Markus Hammerer (born August 31, 1989 in Braunau am Inn ) is an Austrian soccer player . He has been playing for the regional league club LASK Linz since 2013 .

Career

Hammerer began his career at Union Treubach / Roßbach in Upper Austria . In 2004 he moved to the youth team of FC Braunau, where he was brought into the first team in 2006. After four years in Braunau , the striker moved to SK Altheim in 2008 , to which he remained loyal for a year. In 2009 he switched to the Austrian Bundesliga club SV Ried .

After a few missions with the amateurs, he came to his first Bundesliga appearance on February 13, 2010. In the game against FC Red Bull Salzburg , Hammerer came on for Florian Sturm in the 62nd minute . The game ended 1: 2.

He scored both goals in SV Josko Ried's 2nd Cup victory against Austria Lustenau and thus scored his club to win the 2011 Cup . In the summer of 2013, Hammerer signed a contract with the traditional Upper Austrian club LASK Linz .
