Markus Jachtenfuchs
Markus Jachtenfuchs (* 1961 ) is a German political scientist . Jachtenfuchs teaches European and Global Governance at the Hertie School of Governance .
Life
Markus Jachtenfuchs wrote his thesis on liability and the environment together with Thomas Gehring in 1988 . Conflicts of interest in international space, nuclear and maritime law . In 1994 Jachtenfuchs spoke to the European University Institute in Florence about International Policy-Making as a Learning Process? The European Union and the Greenhouse Effect and in 1999 at the University of Mannheim in political science on the construction of Europe. Constitutional ideas and institutional development qualified as a professor.
Afterwards Jachtenfuchs was deputy chair for the chair for international relations at the University of Greifswald from autumn 1999 to 2001 . From 2001 to 2006 he was Professor of Political Science at the International University Bremen , where he received two awards for good teaching. Since autumn 2006 he has been working at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Jachtenfuchs has also been Director of the MPP Master of Public Policy Program at the Hertie School of Governance since 2007 .
His main research interests are European integration, international governance and changing statehood.
