Dirk Wittenborn

Dirk Wittenborn (* 1952 in New Haven, Connecticut ) is an American writer and screenwriter .

Life

Dirk Wittenborn was born in New Haven (CT) in 1952 and grew up there. His father, JR Wittenborn, was a professor of psychology - first at Yale and then at Rutgers - and dealt primarily with psychopharmacology, depression, substance abuse and adoption, and also worked with delinquent psychiatric patients. These topics can also be found in Dirk Wittenborn's semi-autobiographical novel Pharmakon .
