Markus Langes-Swarovski

Markus Langes-Swarovski (* 1974 ) is an Austrian entrepreneur. Since 2002 he has been running Swarovski KG, which has been in the family for five generations .

Life

Langes-Swarovski, great-great-grandson of the company's founder Daniel Swarovski and son of the long-standing CEO Gernot Langes-Swarovski first completed an art degree and a degree in social and economic sciences at the LMU Munich . Afterwards, an internal trainee program lasting several years prepared him for functions in the group management. At the age of 28, he succeeded his father as CEO of the Tiroler Swarovski KG .

In 2007 he was involved with the artist André Heller in the redesign of the Wattener Swarovski Crystal Worlds, which were reopened in December 2007.
