Markus Meysner (born April 8, 1966 in Fulda ) is a German politician of the CDU Hessen . He has been a member of the Hessian state parliament since the 19th electoral term.

Life

Markus Meysner completed his degree in administrative management and then worked in the administration of the Petersberg community.

Markus Meysner has been a member of the CDU since 1996. In 2001 he was elected mayor of the city of Tann . He held this office until 2013. Due to the planned candidacy for the state parliament, he decided not to apply for another term of office.

In the 2013 election to the Hessian state parliament , he was a direct candidate in the Fulda II constituency (constituency 15) as the successor to Norbert Herr . Meysner won the constituency's direct mandate for the Hessian state parliament, which he defended in the 2018 state election .
