Markus Mooslechner (born September 11, 1973 in Bruck an der Mur ) is an Austrian journalist and television presenter .

After studying American studies at the University of Graz , Mooslechner worked in the newsroom at the ORF regional studio in Salzburg. In 2002 he switched to the newsroom of Zeit im Bild in Vienna, where he reported on disaster relief operations as a live reporter. Between 2005 and 2007 Mooslechner worked for the daily ORF magazine Willkommen Österreich . From 2007 to 2010 Mooslechner was editor, live reporter and deputy broadcast manager of the weekly science magazine Newton - News from the world of science on ORF eins . From September 2010 to September 2012 he also moderated the show. He is currently working as a producer at Terra Mater Factual Studios in Salzburg.
