Markus Papiernik

Markus Papiernik (born June 19, 1981 in Cottbus ) is a gymnast , stuntman and world parkour champion .

Life

Markus Papiernik was a competitive athlete as a gymnast during his school days at the Lausitzer Sportschule . From 1999 to 2002 he was third in the 1999 European Youth Championships in the Bundesliga squad of SC Cottbus and SC Potsdam . After SC Potsdam withdrew, he moved to the gymnastics second division TSV Bayer 04 and played several second division duels. Then he was active with the TuS Leopoldshöhe in the German Gymnastics League.

He studied political science and sports to teaching in Potsdam . He started as a stuntman while studying at the Babelsberg Film Park and stayed that way for three years. With his involvement in Templin in 2006, he broke off his studies after eight semesters before starting his legal clerkship . Through his contacts in Babelsberg, he is regularly invited to film productions.

In 2008, Papiernik became World Parkour Champion in the Speed ​​Contest discipline . The following year he finished fourth in the discipline and has not competed since.

He is currently stunt rider and coordinator (since 2007) in the Eldorado Templin . There he appears as a Sheriff Gym Garret and as an Indian in stunt shows.
