Markus Reyhani

Markus Dariusch Reyhani (* 1970 in Jülich ) is a German composer .

Life

Reyhani completed a music course in Cologne with a focus on jazz, but broke it off, went to China for around two years, where he gave German and saxophone lessons. Since 1995 he has been working as a composer for dance and theater, film and television. In the meantime, he has composed the music and written the lyrics for more than a hundred plays.

He worked for the State Theater Stuttgart, the Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Nationaltheater Mannheim, the Schauspiel Zürich and the WDR ( Die Sendung mit der Maus ).

He often worked with the directors Petra Wüllenweber, Theo Fransz, Marcelo Diaz, Andrea Gronemeyer, Catharina Fillers, Thomas Hollaender and Marcus Mislin .
