Marla O'Hara (born February 22, 1961 in Gardena , California ) is a former American beach volleyball player .

Career

O'Hara played volleyball , basketball and softball in her youth . In beach volleyball, O'Hara was active in US tournaments from 1988 to 2010 and internationally on the FIVB World Tour from 1995 to 2005 . In 1992 she won the Manhattan Beach Open with Dennie Shupryt-Knoop . At the side of Kristin Schritter O'Hara took part in the 1999 World Championships in Marseille .

Private

O'Hara has a daughter (Kellie) and a son (Michael). Her hobbies are karate and snowboarding .
