Marquede is a part of the municipality of Milower Land in the west of Brandenburg .

history

Marquede was mentioned in writing in a document from the Brandenburg bishop Balduin when the knight Daniel von Mukede ("Daniel, miles de Mukethe") gave six Hufen Land in the village of Marzahne to the cathedral chapter on September 24, 1215 for the maintenance of an eternal light in the cathedral bequeathed to his and his wife's "entitlement" memory.

Later the village fell desolate . In the 18th century, the manor owner Christoph Friedrich von Katte founded the Marquede Vorwerk on the desert.

On September 30, 1928, the Marquede manor was united with the rural community of Jerchel . After 1945 the district of Marquede came to Milow , from 2003 to the municipality of Milower Land .
