Mars Mushrooms is the name of a jam band from Bavaria . The group's musical roots lie in the American jam band scene with bands such as Grateful Dead , Phish or Widespread Panic .
The Mars Mushrooms have performances all over Germany and Switzerland, they could also be heard at the Nuremberg Bardentreffen . The bands' records are also sold in the USA and Japan.
In late 2007 / early 2008 the band was on a two-week tour in Japan. She played u. a. in Kawasaki, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya.
