Martín Alejo Conde (born August 25, 1971 in Mar del Plata , Argentina ) is an Argentine beach volleyball player , world champion and participant in the first four beach volleyball tournaments at the Olympic Games.

Career

After two tournaments with Horacio Taccone, Conde changed his partner in 1993. With Eduardo Esteban Martínez he formed a beach volleyball team until 2000. The two achieved an FIVB tournament victory in 1996, 1997 and 1998 . From 2001 Martín Conde started with Mariano Baracetti , with whom he won the world title in Klagenfurt in the same year . The two Argentinians also won three other FIVB titles.

Conde took part in all the Olympic Games from 1996 to 2008 and came ninth as the best placement in the beach volleyball competitions in Sydney and Athens . In 2002 he became Tour Champion of the FIVB and in 2006 the South American was named best defender, each with Baracetti as a partner. In 2008 Martín Conde ended his international career.
