José Luis Salema Abrantes (born May 19, 1970 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is a former Argentinian beach volleyball player .

Career

After two tournaments with Hernan Rojas, Salema changed partners in 1996. With Mariano Baracetti he formed a beach volleyball team until 2000. The two competed at the Summer Olympics in Sydney in the last year of their collaboration and previously won the FIVB tournament in Mar del Plata . In 2001 Salema played with Eduardo Martinez and Pedro Depiaggio. After two tournaments in 2002 with Pablo Del Coto, Salema took a two-year break. In 2005 Martín Conde was his partner. Conde / Salema reached seventh place at the World Championships in Berlin . After a few tournaments in 2006 with Depiaggio, Salema took another break from playing. In 2008 José Salema played again with his former partner Baracetti with a third place in Sanya in China as the best result, in 2009 the two South Americans played the entire season together and achieved a top ten again in ninth place at their last tournament in Stare Jabłonki in Poland -Placement.
