Martín Gerardo Garrido Mayorga (born November 9, 1974 in Córdoba ) is an Argentine cyclist .

Athletic career

Garrido won a stage each in 2000 of the Tour of Galicia , 2001 in the Tour of Murcia and 2004 in the Tour of the Algarve . In 2001 and 2002 he started at the Vuelta a España. In the Tour de Normandie 2005 he won the prologue and finished the tour in third place. In 2006 he was the first to finish a stage of the Tour of Portugal . At the road cycling world championships in Salzburg in the same year, he and his compatriot Matías Médici were found to have increased hematocrit and a 15-day protection ban was imposed.

In total, Garrido won 13 stages on various tours in the course of his cycling career. In 2008 he won the Tour de San Luis . In 2008 he finished second in the Argentine championship in the individual time trial , and in 2011 he finished third.
